SKINNER NURSERIES MARKS 30 YEARS OF SERVICE TO LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION

Jacksonville, Florida – On February 13th, Skinner Nurseries held a commemorative celebration at their Jacksonville Distribution Center to commemorate 30 years of service to Landscape Construction. Both customers and employees attended the event. Skinner Nurseries started out as Skinner’s Tree Farm in 1973 as a modest 20-acre operation. Skinner soon became a pioneer in the industry, introducing the innovative new concept of container-grown trees to the South. With increasing demand, Skinner’s Tree Farm became Skinner’s Wholesale Nurseries and continued its steady growth. Recognizing the need of landscape contractors and designers for a one-stop supplier, Skinner Nurseries began growing large volumes of landscape shrubs and smaller trees and also developed a network of growers capable of fulfilling all the needs of its clients. Now known as the South’s leading producer and distributor of green goods, Skinner Nurseries continues to add distribution centers across the Sunbelt to service its growing list of customers.
