SKINNER NURSERIES HOSTS TWO STOPS ON ANLA NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION TOUR
Dallas, TX - Skinner Nurseries, the leading supplier of green goods in the South, hosted stops on the American Nursery & Landscape Association’s (ANLA) Landscape Distribution Tour at its Lewisville and Ft. Worth locations last week. Every year, the ANLA conducts the industry’s only program exclusively for the landscape distribution professional, which tours large metropolitan markets where landscape distribution companies thrive.
Over 100 green industry professionals toured a dozen locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to learn how the region’s most successful landscape distribution companies operate. At the Skinner Nurseries stops, the tour-goers flowed through seven different stations focusing on the ompany’s office efficiencies, business plan, yard merchandising, purchasing methods, marketing programs, customer service commitment and multiple branch operations within the same market.
“Skinner Nurseries is honored to have two locations on this prestigious tour where we can
showcase the talents of our people and highlight our Plant Purchasing Simplified approach”, stated Kevin Van Dyke, President of Skinner Nurseries.
Mark Bromley, Regional Vice President, went on to add, “We are extremely thankful to the
ANLA for recognizing our company as a flagship landscape distribution company. Our branch staffs in the Lewisville and Ft. Worth locations deserve all the credit for making ours such successful stops on this tour.”
"The LDG tour, in its fifth year of visiting top notch landscape distributors across the country,
arrived in Dallas, TX, for what would prove to be our best tour ever. As president of the
Landscape Distribution Group - a division of the ANLA - I am proud to say that leading the list of best see's were two uniquely different Skinner Nursery sites. The attendees were very
impressed. Many thanks to the Lewisville and Ft. Worth teams for putting Skinner Nurseries in the national limelight!", said Bud Eskola, also Regional Vice President for Skinner Nurseries.
Skinner Nurseries, which operates two growing Farms in Central Florida, and currently twenty two strategically located distribution centers across the southern United States, is one of the astest growing suppliers of green goods in the Sun Belt.
