SKINNER NURSERIES DONATES TREES FOR ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION

Jacksonville, FL - Skinner Nurseries, the leading supplier of green goods in the South, donated several large DD Blanchard Magnolias to the City of Norcross, GA, for their Arbor Day celebration. The trees were planted in South Point Park in Norcross, which celebrated three years of being a member of the Tree City USA program.

Jennifer Peterson, organizer for the Norcross Arbor Day event, said “We appreciate Skinner Nurseries’ donation of the trees. They certainly make a nice centerpiece.”

 Josh Bare, Skinner Nurseries employee and former Norcross city councilman, stated “Americans are so busy living today that they forget about setting up for tomorrow. Not only do trees add beauty to our landscape, but they also help slow global warming. We’re happy to be nvolved in such a worthy cause.”
