SKINNER NURSERIES HELPS BEAUTIFY JACKSONVILLE FOR SUPER BOWL
Jacksonville, FL – Skinner Nurseries announced today they are providing 175 large container trees to the City of Jacksonville as temporary beautification for the upcoming Super Bowl. Skinner Nurseries was brought into the project by Jacksonville’s Greenscape, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to tree planting throughout the area. The 100-gallon trees, which consist of 75 Live Oak and 100 Magnolias, are guaranteed to make an impressive impact. The trees, which can be seen along pedestrian areas near Alltel Stadium help beautify the walkways and enhance the already carefully landscaped area. After the Super Bowl the trees will be permanently planted in many of Jacksonville’s parks and green spaces.
Skinner Nurseries, which marked 30 years in business last year, is well respected for their ability to provide large, quality trees to projects. “We are very pleased that we were given the opportunity to provide these trees to the City of Jacksonville for Super Bowl. With the entire country watching us, it is important to promote Jacksonville as being not only the 39th Super Bowl City, but also one that places a lot of importance on maintaining an attractive environment to live and work in. Considering the recent weather up north, I’m sure the trees will be much appreciated,” stated Russell Skinner, president of Skinner Nurseries. As a witness to the tremendous growth of Jacksonville, Skinner Nurseries can give testimony to the commitment by the City to grow smart and keep the City beautiful.
