SKINNER NURSERIES OPENS NEWEST BRANCH IN AUSTIN

Austin, Texas – Skinner Nurseries, the leading supplier of green goods in the South, has opened its newest branch in Austin, Texas. On March 5th, the Austin branch held a grand opening celebration. Attended by approximately 150 people, the event was a great success and enjoyed by all. Both breakfast and lunch were served, and gift certificates to Academy and Outback were given away.

The Austin Center encompasses 9 acres and has stock ranging from #10 to #300 container trees, tropical palms and cycads, native perennials, ornamentals, and succulents. Currently in the process of adding mulches, fertilizers, steel edging, and some hardlines, the center should be fully stocked by mid-March. With 30,000 square feet of greenhouse space, the center is well equipped to handle the busy season ahead. The new center has a delivery area, which stretches north to Waco and south to the Rio Grande Valley.

“We are excited about the opening of our Austin branch and the opportunity to bring onestop shopping to landscape contractors in the area.
