NEW FACES AT SKINNER NURSERIES IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Hardeeville, SC –  Skinner Nurseries in Hardeeville, South Carolina has hired three new employees to join their growing sales force.  Joe McDermott, Dan Simon and Cathy Boerner now round out the current team of sales professionals in our office.

Joe McDermott has been hired as assistant Manager and Sales Representative.  Joe moved to the Low country three months ago from Nashville, Tennessee. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in horticulture, Joe will be a valuable asset to our team with a background which includes management of a large mulch manufacturing and distributing company.  Dan Simon joins us as our outside Sales Representative for the Charleston, Columbia, Aiken, Augusta, and Charlotte markets.  Dan has an extensive background in the green industry, which includes work at a family owned nursery.  Our final hire is Kathy Boerner who will be inside sales for our Hardeeville operation.  Kathy is a certified nursery professional in South Carolina and has 10 years experience managing a large retail garden center.  With hands on experience as a Landscape Manager for a local 4 Diamond Resort, Kathy is well versed in plant maintenance, health, design, fertilizers, and chemicals and working within the constraints of a strict budget.
