SKINNER NURSERIES ACQUIRES TWO ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS IN METRO ATLANTA

Atlanta, GA - Skinner Nurseries, the leading supplier of green goods in the South, has announced the acquisition of two new branches in the metro Atlanta market.  These centers – formerly Pike Wholesale Nurseries – are strategically located in Alpharetta and Buford, in the city’s northern suburbs.  The new locations are officially opening as Skinner Nurseries on March 10 and are fully stocked and operational.

The Alpharetta location is a 10 acre site on McFarland Road, just west of GA400 – a major artery into the northern Atlanta suburbs.  The Buford location is also a 10 acre site on South Lee Street, just west of I-985 and south of Lake Lanier.  Both locations will continue to carry an assortment of stone, hardscapes and ponding supplies in addition to green goods.

With existing branches in Marietta, Norcross and Peachtree City, Skinner Nurseries’ most recent acquisition brings the company’s total distribution center count to five in the metro Atlanta area.
