SKINNER NURSERIES’ AUSTIN DISTRIBUTION TEAM GROWS
Austin, Texas – Skinner Nurseries is gearing up to open its’ Austin Distribution Center in December with the addition of two employees. The center, which will be centrally located in the Austin area, is 5 miles east of IH-35 at 12550 Harris Branch in Manor, Texas. With nine acres soon to be fully stocked and 30,000 square feet of green house capacity, the center is a state of the art facility.
Brad Seever has accepted a position as inside/outside sales and assistant branch manager for the center. Brad has six years experience in the Horticulture Industry. A graduate of Texas A & M, Brad majored in Horticulture and minored in business. After working for Skinner’s as a purchasing scout for approximately 14 months, Brad has chosen to move into sales.
The center’s other addition is John Doggett. John is also a graduate of Texas A & M with a major in Agricultural Systems Management. John joins Skinner Nurseries, after working for a Landscape Maintenance and Construction company for approximately one year. Both John and Brad, have a strong knowledge of the business and are committed to making the Austin branch a one-stop shopping center for area landscape contractors and developers.
Skinner Nurseries has a network of distribution centers across the Southeast. The Austin Distribution Center will provide a wide range of material from annual color, shrubs, large trees, and palms to a full line of hardlines, including mulch and soil.
